Announcing Remoting SDK and Data Abstract 9

We’re incredibly excited to let you know about the immediate availability of Remoting SDK and Data Abstract 9, the next major release of our communication and data access frameworks.

It’s been a while since out last major update last summer, but the wait has been worth

RO SDK and DA 9 are a great release! I have already deployed in production two new products developed with code-first … it was great fun to work with it.

SSL support (the new implementation for .NET is very great) is provided also for Delphi?

Exactly my opinion. I’ve converted two larger services with some satelite services to ROSDK 9 and CodeFirst within the beta stage. I’m absolutely happy with the new RO-SDK on C# and Delphi.

In Delphi you can use the TRoWinHttpServer. It use the http.sys kernel mode driver and support SSL out of the box.

SSL is supported in Indy and Synapse via openssl library. for synapse, you need to add ssl_openssl unit into uses.

for configuring WinHTTP server, you can use netsh standard program. see more at
