Can I use OCX in a delphi vcl plugin?

I like to use ocx to connect to a c++ dll but when I do I get Debug Assertion Failed in mfc120d.dll
in the tooltip.cpp.
So my question is vcan I use ocx in a hydra delphi vcl plugin?
