Hello. My apologies for the trouble, this is likely due to a new feature we added in yesterday’s build.
Coudl you please zip and send me the log file for this session please? You can find it in `C:\Users\YOUR USER ACCOUNT\AppData\Roaming\RemObjects Software\CodeBot\Logs` in a subfolder with a timestamp when it began. If you’re not sure, there’s a HTML file that’s the chat log. The logs will contain the exact details of the specific construct that triggered this and that we can use to resolve it.
For context, AIs - any and all of them - often create subtly incorrect matches between DFM and pas files. This can cause issues anything from compile problems, to runtime errors creating the form. We don’t think AIs should be allowed to create invalid code or forms (this is part of designing for Delphi) and so one key thing CodeBot does is prevent this through a system that validates and sanitises what the AI creates. This looks like a bug in that system.
My apologies for the bug, and I hope this background explains a bit about what’s happening and why the logs will be so useful!

Hi Bernd,
The logs didn’t show complete sessions, unfortunately. If you’d like, you could zip your entire Logs folder and send it privately to [david.millington@remobjects.com](mailto:david.millington@remobjects.com)? I’ll search for issues inside it. However, I’ve made some analysis of the changes we made and some educated guesses about what you might have run into, and we have just released an update with those fixed. It also gives CodeBot a second chance - the form analysis is sent to the AI (as it was) but the AI is now allowed to say, no, this really is correct and apply it anyway, meaning that even if we have not fixed the bug the AI will be able to change the form and code as it wishes.
CodeBot should notify you an update is available.
If you see any text in the chat indicating the analysis still flags something, even if CodeBot succeeds, I would absolutely love any logs you’d be able to send. Either way though I hope this update resolves it for you.

We’ve made further changes in this area for an upcoming build too.
