Consider changing the extension for android layout files

That’s what i thought/feated and what my goal was — to handle tis like Xcode, create a project that contains all the files. Now, if i could get Android Studio to launch w/o crashing, i could get to work on looking what their projects look like :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

If you have used this approach: how would you feel abut sending me a “template project” for IntelliJ and Andorid Studio that i could work from?

I suggest you don’t lost your time with Android Studio. use IntelliJ Idea 13 CE, works perfect.

Use Community Edition.

I put on your dropbox a empty project , this have a mani.xml layout, you can use this i hope.

Really, i need to install Java 6 to run IntelliJ? What year is this?
