Im just running the sample attached to the first post. It gets into ExternalCalls.RaiseException in PosixHelpers in Island code.

Yes, the NRE happens one step up, in RTLException…ctor. that should have been fixed with my change. I’ll retest here now, with latest.

Confirmed; my fix (which was just a gut-reaction, because the old code did look fishy) did nothing, it still NREs.

The downside is, I’ll now have to leave this with Carlo, who’s unfortunately ut of office this week.
