not saying the delphi ide is a reference in that area (the contrary), but i have the impression that codebot is making things worse…

ide vanishes unexpedtedly, hangs when code insight pops up…

anyone similar experience or is it just me

Hi - my apologies for the delay here, it’s my fault that I didn’t see this post.

We have seen one report of the IDE freezing, but not vanishing. The latest Preview release has a possible fix for that. Could I ask you to switch to the Preview channel in settings (Advanced tab on the right) and see if it works better for you please?

Hi - my apologies. This is proving extremely hard to track down, and the leads so far have no explanation.

If it happens again, could you start a second instead of Delphi, go to Run \> Attach To Process, select the other bds.exe (it won’t let you select itself), and then report the main thread’s call stack, please?
