# Is it possible to implement a 'do not dock' option

i do not really want to dock the codebot window, but since it stays on top i see myselves dragging it around, resulting in getting docked unwanted, and pulling it back out it drags other dockable windows with it (like project window or components) and so those ones are then docked in the codebot chat window…
instead i’de rather see an option to minimize the codebot window if possible…

Sure! In terms of minimising, where would you like it to go? The IDE supports some windows that are pinned/not pinned, but we could also add support, when it’s a floating window, to make it larger/smaller automatically. Could you share more about what you have in mind please?

for me a simple minimize would suffice, just to put it out of the way (dragging it always keep docking it)
i suppose a ‘do not dock’ options would do the trick also…
ps: i’ll attend Ekon, so maybe we can have a chat about it there…
