those files were just empty…

.Skeleton was like a normal pas file

and .Dataskeleton fdm like (datamodules)

so emailing them will not shed more light i’m afraid

Thankyou. In that case, my guess is it was trying to create namespaced units (foo.Skeleton.pas) to hold classes or data. It’s designed to use unit naming like that - not skeleton etc specifically, but dotted unit names.

The question would be why they were without useful content (if I understood correctly).

Thanks. I think without logs,then, it’s not something we can easily diagnose - possibly, we cna hope, a once off ☹ Maybe even a write error, eg, maybe it created the files but could not get them with content. I’ll see what we can repro here. Please let me know if you see this again!
