# Visual Studio 2026 Find in Files skips Oxygene ASP.NET Core sources

Hello RemObjects team,

“Find in Files → Entire solution” misses source files in our Oxygene [ASP.NET](http://ASP.NET) Core projects. Searching by physical directory works correctly.

Environment:

- Visual Studio 2026 Professional 18.8.3
- Elements 13.0.0.3138
- Oxygene / .NET 10 / `.elements` projects

We tested project copies with identical sources and fresh caches, changing only `NETCoreRuntime`:

| Runtime | Source files present in search caches |
| --- | --- |
| `Microsoft.AspNetCore.App` | 1,214 / 4,467 |
| `Microsoft.NETCore.App` | **4,467 / 4,467** |
| Back to `Microsoft.AspNetCore.App` | 1,214 / 4,467 |

Actual searches confirmed the missing results return with `Microsoft.NETCore.App`. Recreating the caches alone does not help.

Inspection suggests this may involve the `CPS` capability that Elements adds for [ASP.NET](http://ASP.NET) Core projects, changing how Visual Studio enumerates their files.

Could you investigate and provide a fix that preserves `Microsoft.AspNetCore.App`? The runtime change was only a diagnostic test
