Currently it seems like “Add Reference” doesn’t allow you to add refs to shared projects. I had to manually edit the project file to add:
Shared projects are entirely unsupported in Fire at this stage.
That said, you can drag them to the references node to add a reference. But beyond that are dragons, so be warned.
