The program can't start because RemObjects_Core_D21.bpl is missing from your computer

Hi guys,

We are trying to recompile the buildpackages for Delphi XE7. After the first build and install process, all the packages install properly, but once I exit the IDE and restart it.

It reports:

bds.exe - System Error

The program can’t start because RemObjects_Core_D21.bpl is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

OK

The file is on the .bpl location, we have no idea we are getting this error but after this, none of the dependent packages will load.

Any idea what could be missing so we can fix it?

pls check that you have C:\Program Files (x86)\RemObjects Software\RemObjects SDK for Delphi\Dcu\D21\win32 in your %path% variable or in user overrides:

Just make sure to have “Append to Delphi’s override paths” selected during the install (I had the same problem and this fixed it).

Adding the paths fixed the issue. Thank you very much. It drove me nuts for several days.
