Corrupted Installtion Of Elements with Water

Hello,
we’ve ran into a problem with installation of Elements with Water. If we have on a computer already installed Delphi Prism and then we install Elements with Water, the default installation folder is changed to ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero’ and not ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\RemObjects Software’ this causes many problems along the way and forces us to uninstall Delphi Prism, install Elements with Water and than reinstall Delphi Prism. (Of course we could manually change it during installation but it is not very user friendly )

If you upgrade any version of Oxygene, it will install in the folder that the old version was in, yes. This includes Oxygene 5/Delphi Prism, and is as designed. Uninstalling the old version fist is, as you discovered, the correct workaround if you do not want to upgrade in place.

What problems does it cause? It should be fine even in the “wrong” folder, so something else must be going on…
