Cross platform JVM?

Novice question.

Can I write code in C# or Silver that will target JVM on Windows, Linux and OSX?

JDBC is critical for my use case, thus the need for JVM.

I’ve been thinking about Java and Scala, but I would prefer to code in C#, or potentially in Swift.

RemObjects might be just what I need.

Yes. C# and Silver works on the regular java runtimes and on Android.
