Delta has not yet been initialized by the datatable

When my client app tries to add a record to an open data table in the ClientDataModule I am getting the following error:

Delta has not yet been initialized by the datatable

Any suggestions as to what I have missed?

it should work out of box as expected.

can you create a simple testcase that reproduces this behavior, pls?
