E271 Cannot find default property for Sytem String

Using latest Water beta (2295) with WPF app.
Imported system data types from mscorlib.
Trying to use simple System.String data value fails with above error .
Project loads and builds without error in VS2017 community edition.

Do you have an example we can try here? It’s not a known issue (and we have lots of apps).

Simple example included. Builds fine with elements in VS2017 community, but not in Water.
