I have been playing around with pure Linux workflows for Elements. I have written a shell script (see here) that instantiates one of my custom Visual Studio project templates from the Linux command line. My project templates do not contain a .sln file (normally the IDE creates it), so neither does the instantiated project directory.
Fire and Water both open such a project and automatically create a .sln file. Earth does not.
