I do not think it is a local problem. In our computers this problem occurs frequently, however, by clicking ‘retry’ follows the installation to finish.

Right; it just doesn’t feel like this would be a big in the installer, but that fir some reason (outside of the installer’s control) the copy operation failed. Especially of Retry works.
It must be some problem installer or installer process, because other installs of other products do not have these problems in the same computers.
You are using InnoSetup. True?
Sorry for this false alarm.
Just found this is caused by my manual modification of uwp blank project templates (https://talk.remobjects.com/t/failed-to-create-uwp-project-in-vs2015-update3/10225/8. After I deleted the template files created by myself, the installer works fine again.
