After dragging two cs files to a project in Fire, its says (spaces) in the file explorer, what does it mean?
That the file uses spaces rather than tabs, for a file type that defaults to tabs. you can right-click and choose Convert to Tabs, if you want consistency. or you can keep it as is, of course.
It didn’t make any difference converting to tabs. The file content wasn’t changed in any way
Yes, it’ll only change the spaces to tabs, you won’t see a difference
Ok, converted all files to tabs
.
FWIW, i displays this so prominently because it drives me mad too when i see it, forcing me to proactively get this stuff cleaned ;).
I removed references of two files and then added them. It started to say spaces on 90% of the files again.
I don’t know why it matters? Its just that I would prefer not to see it
Do they have tabs or spaces? if the latter, then it’s as designed.
