I-beam cursor positions caret strangely when clicked

When I click in the editor, the caret is placed to the left of the character where the I-beam is located, until the I-beam is all the way at the right of that character. I kept expecting it to be placed after a character when I clicked in the right half of that character, but it’s always on the left for any click on the character. Sounds minor, but it really breaks flow. I would expect the breakpoint for placement to be in the center of the font glyph.

I heart you. i’ll look at tweaking the pixel-to-character coordinate mapping, it feels a bit off to me, as well.

Please let me know if this feels better in the next build. i wasn’t quite happy with splitting it in the middle, so i went for 60/40 split.
