Intriguing Issue with Installing Hydra Trial on Delphi Rio 10.2

Hi Folks,
After experiencing some issues with a competing Plug-In Framework Product, I decided to have a look at Hydra, in the hope that we could employ this as a mature plugin system. I have been a fan of RemObjects for a very long time until illness took me away from development for an extensive period. Great to see the many new products and exciting architecture ideas - Marc has been really busy.

I downloaded the Hydra Trial and sadly have been singularly unsuccessful in my attempts to get anything working after installing the Hydra Trial. Although I can see the installed files, and although the folders seem to be ok, Delphi refuses to play nicely with Hydra.

When I start Delphi, after installing Hydra, I get a sequence of error messages saying that items required in the BPL files cannot be found.

I opened the Delphi 10.3 Package Installer, located the missing packages path reference in the Install Packages dialog for “RemObjects Everwood for Delphi” and double clicked to checkbox. The following error message was displayed,
“The procedure entry point @System@classes@TFieldsCache@$bcctr$$qqrv could not be located in the Dynamic LInk Library C:\Program Files (x86)\RemObjects Software\Everwood\Bin\RemObjects_Everwood_D26.bpl”

I can click on OK and then receive a sequence of additional errors. All of the files “seem” to be in place. Is there anything you can suggest to resolve this trial as we are really keen to try this out and it would be great to get back to RemObjects after my very lengthy enforced break.

any help/advice/magic/voodoo would be really welcomed.

Thanks.
David

Hi,

Can you specify what exactly Delphi 10.3 version you are using, pls?
it should be compatible with Delphi 10.3 Update 2 (Delphi 10.3 Version 26.0.34749.6593)
