It’s a couple of years since I last asked, but with VS2026 starting to appear, thought I’d see if there was any movement on Microsoft opening up VS again to allow support for more than VC# and VB ?

Sadly, not so far, at least for VS2022. We’re working on VS2026 integration now (which changed a lot) and i’m not sure if anything has developed in that regard there – my gut feeling is no, I expect this was a deliberate change/break from Microsoft’s side to disable this, and they don’t want this supported anymore (though i have no concrete info to baxck that up).
I would not get my hopes up.
