What are the chances of you adding some apple touch icons as per https://developer.apple.com/library/safari/releasenotes/General/WhatsNewInSafari/Articles/Safari_9.html so we can tell the difference between the download/talk/web stuff in the new pinned tabs? Just the same as your favicons, but in this other format.
On my list to do, yes. if only there were more than 36 hours in the day

Maybe as youāve added them as png files, and the spec says they have to be svg?

Hmm, those are separate. thats the touch icon for iOS. These are the ones for Pinned tabs:

Ah, I didnāt notice those as I saw in the docs it says āNote: This markup should be placed before other elements to avoid compatibility issues with existing icons.ā so I stopped when I got to the ones at the top.

Oddly, it only works on my iMac, not on my macBook. Odd.
