Schema Modeler requests

Hello,

The Schema Modeler in version 8.2.89.1153 could use some general improvements.

  1. The Connections Manager panel needs to be dockable to the Schema Modeler
  2. You need to put a “separator” control between the schema tree and the details panel
  3. When changing the name of a connection in the Connections Manager the connection name doesn’t update in the schema tree list

I’m sure there will be more as I go…

Thanks for the report, I logged issues for further review:

  1. 71643: DASM: Connections Manager panel needs to be dockable to the Schema Modeler
  2. There is a separator between the schema tree and the details panel, but it’s not visible ( http://screencast.com/t/h6C7dk4d1LV ) - are you asking about it’s visibility?
  3. 71644: DASM: Update names of the connections in the schema tree after editing in the connection manager

Thanks on #1 & #3.

In regard to #2 moving the mouse along the edge wasn’t changing the mouse cursor to indicate there was a splitter there or allowing me to resize the tree view.

I’ve since installed Data Abstract for Delphi XE7 and now the splitter is there (in Visual Studio).
