"Unable to load DLL" error on fresh install

I just installed Oxygene, which installed the VS 2012 shell. When I attempt to create a windows WPF or WinForms app, I get the following error message:

Unable to load DLL
’RemObjects.Oxygene.VisualStudio.NativeHelper.dll’: The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

I had selected adding Oxygene to the path when installing, but my Windows path was not modified. All installation was done with default options. Any ideas what I need to do to fix this?

the quickest way to fix this is to copy RemObjects.Oxygene.VisualStudio.NativeHelper.dll fron .\Bin to the System32 folder (SysWOW64, on Win64). my apologies for the inconvenience.

I added it’s \Bin folder to my path, but now it’s saying I don’t have any valid licenses, despite the license manager saying it’s valid through March 1st.

Could you please try to install latest gamma build. It should have fix for the bug.

Best regards.

Since I’m on a trial version, it appears I don’t have access to the latest gamma build.

Could you please provide us with your connect login so we can upload the fixed trial on your personal sownload page?

Best regards.

Hi,

new build of Oxygene was uploaded to your personal downloads https://secure.remobjects.com/portal/downloads/personal.aspx

That has fixed the .dll error, now it just says I don’t have a valid license, despite the trial being set to expire on March 1st.

Can you try delete all license files from “YouProfile\Application Data\RemObjects Software\Licenses” and import your trial extension again, please?

Done. I loaded the license when prompted, and it still said my trial was expired. Looking at the license Manager, it lists Data Abstract and RemObjects SDK as licensed items that expire on 2013-03-01. Both list version 7.0, Beta = false, Final = true, Count = 1

Hi,

do you have license for Oxygene? Just in case I sent you trial extension for Oxygene.

slavad, that’s what I was missing. Is there a similar update for Data Abstract, as I’m having the same problem with that product.
