Visual Studio Publish Website Dialog Box

Hi,

Have latest stable release of Oxygene with VS 2015. When publishing websites - VS doesn’t open the “Publish Website Dialog Box.” In the ouput screen, I get to “Build Succeded” but that’s it.

Anyone have ideas on what is wrong or how to resolve?

Hi,
VS 2015 that is packaged with the Oxygene download: "RemObjects Elements with Visual Studio 2015 - 8.3.95.2031.exe"
It installs an isolated and integrated instance when you look at the Windows Programs and Features.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I’ve ran SFC /Scannow. I’ve googled a bit but can’t seem find any relevant searches.

Hoping that I don’t have to reinstall Windows etc.

Hello Ben,

It is a known problem with VS Shell and we are working on it. While we are working is installing VS Comunity 2015 edition is an option for you? That should fix this.

Thanks - at least I can stop trying to fix myself :slight_smile:

I will try the VS Community 2015 edition - is there any downside to using that always? Or is the prepackaged VS with Oxygene easier installed/configured and better to always use? Or if you think it wont be too long before the problem is fixed, like a week or so, I can just wait.
