Where to start with DataAbstract & RO SDK?

Hello there,

I’m trying to start using DataAbstract, but I just can’t find where to begin with. The documentation is… well… non existant, at least not what I can see from the web. The Wiki is good if you already know stuff, but if you are starting from zero I don’t see clearly a way to start. The tutorials and demos also assume you already know the technology, and even if it’s somewhat possible to try to just “follow” the code, I have been trying that for a while and just can’t figure things out.

So, is there some previous version of the help and/or documentation that can be used? I understand that the Wiki is a work in progress, but it’s been like that for some months (or more, I don’t know, I started checking it when I bought this, some months ago) and I need to start being productive with this tools.

So, any pointers, any page or file I’ve been missing to help me start with this?

Wiki is really under construction now, not all the articles are available yet.
All that we have you could find in Wiki. RemObjectsTV provides some materials too.

I would advice you to start from learning DA architecture http://wiki.remobjects.com/wiki/From_Client/Server_to_Multi-Tier and http://wiki.remobjects.com/wiki/Data_Abstract_Client .

Then overview DA concepts http://wiki.remobjects.com/wiki/Data_Abstract_Concepts_(.NET) ( if you use DA for .NET, as I could suppose from your posts).

And of course feel free to ask questions in our forum, we’ll try to do our best to help you.
